Maqbool Chacha.Salahuddin's assistant for almost his entire tenure at NCA.He prepared the clay for Mian's own work and ceramic studio.Mian was a hard taskmaker who would flare up if the work executed was not of the required standard.Maqbool admired Mian's comand over glazes and recalls that the ceramics studio used to sparkle under Mian Saheb;s meticulous care.Maqbool managed to work amicably with Mian,despite the spells of temper,for a stretch of 35 years,and still continues to work at the ceramics studio at NCA.
